I watched this video clip this morning. Listening to the words of President Monson made me feel so good. :)

Gray Skies in AZ?

In the past year and a half that we have lived here, I can recall it sprinkling maybe four times. Well, something crazy is going on now, because it hasn't stopped pouring for the past 3 days! We got tired of being in the house, so we went outside and got wet for a few minutes today. Jaden wanted an umbrella for Christmas, which I figured he would never use. Well, he had a great time in the backyard with his umbrella and his "never before used for rain" rain boots today! Daniel had to take the van to work, because he needs the wiper blades replaced on his car. We've known that for six months, but we haven't done anything about it, because it "never" rains here. :) Our back yard is flooded and my little garden is flooded and wrecked. But I do love rain, and anything that gives a little variety to constant sunny skies! So I am actually enjoying this mess! :)

Happy Days For Mommies...

Zoee had her first success on the potty yesterday. It's still going to be awhile before we really try potty training. But we let her sit on the potty because she thinks it's fun. Yesterday she decided she would leave something there. Yippee. :) After 3 1/2 years of constant diapers, I wouldn't be against having a break from them!

Cleanin' House!

We've been enjoying our post holiday clean up. We're finally getting things orderly again!
How a short momma cleans tall bathrooms mirrors...
The vacuum is always met with resistance..Jaden fights it with sword and shield, and Zoee rams into it with her little vac!

It's Finally Fall...

Our Newest Adventure in Canning...

We made salsa! I even got my trusty side kick to help me out this time! It turned out pretty well, but it was painful to be in that kitchen with odors of  peppers, onions, garlic, and cilantro. Talk about watering eyes!

NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY!

We partied it up on New Year's Eve with rootbeer floats, and a Redbox movie after the kids were in bed! :)

My HOT date was serving them up!

Christmas in Texas

We spent Christmas with Grandpoppee and Grandma B in Houston. We had such a fun time! We also made some very quick stops in El Paso and Las Cruces to visit family along the way.

Grandpa took the kids to play at this fun park, while mom and dad got to go on a kidless run on the trails nearby and then meet up afterward!

At the church Christmas production. The kids loved it! We even got cookies afterward!

This was little boy Heaven for Jaden. He wanted his picture taken with every light covered piece of equipment there! We were already in our jammies when we decided to go see the display, so we just hopped in the car and drove across town that way!

New Christmas Eve jammies.

The Christmas Eve Nativity puppet skit. Grandpa was the star of the show with his vocal performance as the singing angel. Zoee enjoyed the taste of the script.
Christmas morning & excited little ones! It was so fun to watch them!

Partying at Aunt Jenifer's

Jaden thought he had finally found a sock big enough to fit that big ol' foot...nope - it wouldn't go all the way on. But Jaden got both of his in there!

Pile on Grandma B!

Bedtime stories.
Comfy, cozy, and content as can be.

After a long day of partying.

Las Cruces, New Mexico...what?!?! On our way home, we drove through 3 hours of a snow storm. That's the last thing we expected in Texas!
Playing with cousin Emmie

Loving that snow!
