Kaysville it is...

We finally found out about Daniel's job placement - Kaysville, Utah. We were told to expect to go remote, but apparantly there were some last minute changes, because we are certainly not going remote. Daniel is going to be teaching at the largest seminary in the Church -- over 2000 students and 14 full-time seminary teachers! Wow! So we are off to our new adventure as Utahns - what an interesting thought. Let the house hunting begin!

We spent 3 days in Salt Lake City this week for job orientation. We had to leave Jaden with Grandma and Grandpa - he had a blast on the farm - riding the 4-wheeler and motorcycle, checking pivots, and getting soil samples with Grandpa, mowing the lawn, playing in the garden mud and the hose, and looking at all the animals with Grandma. He was a very good liitle boy while we were gone - didn't seem to miss us a bit! We sure were happy to see him again, though. Daniel and I had a great time together in Salt Lake, but we were anxious to get back home (especially mommy). Life just isn't quite complete without our little sunshine! :)

Sicky Sunday...and Monday...and... :(

Happy Mothers' Day to all you mommies and mommies-to-be! It's so great to be a mommy!!

We spent our Mothers' Day sick at home. Daniel brought some nasty germs home from the high school where he teaches seminary, and shared them with all of us (on accident, of course! :). Anyway, we all sluffed church to avoid sharing our germs with anyone else, and Daniel is home from work today. We've just been rotating taking naps all day long because we don't have much energy to do anything else! Hopefully we get rid of this soon! I will spare posting any pictures until we have recovered - we are NOT lookin' pretty!

On the upside, Daniel surprised me with 2 Rascal Flatts CDs for Mommy's Day - my favorite! What a sweetheart husband I have!!

This Week In the Life of Jaden

Helping mommy make French toast, helping daddy fix the siding.

I know this one is borderline indecent, but it was just too funny! Jaden heard Daniel turn on the vacuum while he was taking a bath. As soon as I got him out of the tub, he dropped the towel, went running to the living room, grabbed his vacuum, and got to work. He couldn't let daddy do his favorite job without him!

Life in Idaho

Yesterday was May 1st, we woke up to snow...again! We keep thinking it's going to be Spring, but we're not sure! It's in the 60s again today and all the snow is melted. Maybe tomorrow it will snow again...
