Jaden asked for a pinata for his birthday. I remembered making them as a kid, and the good old internet gave me a few reminder tips. Jaden requested a "Cowboy Jaden" and a "Lucky Horse." He did a great job helping with them. Zoee (sporting her lovely plastic pants - yes, once you hit 2 in this house, mom's done with the diapers, ugh!) on the otherhand, was not such a great help. She rubbed the glue all over in Jaden's hair. As put out as he was, Jaden dealt with her oh, so patiently. Once we got the pinatas done, Jaden decided he didn't want to invite anyone to his party, because he didn't want to share the candy! :) I finally got him talked into sharing. I did take the face off the "Cowboy Jaden" before I let anyone swing a bat at it, though. Pinata breaking pics will be coming soon!
I was just showing Jaden these pictures and singing to him, "Who's makin' a pinata there?" He responded with singing to me, "Who's makin' a mess in Jadey's hair?" That made me smile. He's now learned to speak too well to give me very many Jadenisms anymore, so I really appreciate his witty little funnies!
