Our tile needed some serious help. I couldn't ever get it done with all the kids running across the floor. So I gave them brushes and set them to work. Brilliant - I got done in half the time, and they thought it was meant to be a fun activity. Ha! :) And since we were only cleaning with baking soda and vinegar, I let them get into the mess as much as they wanted, and everybody just took a bath afterward!
